Ziba has wide performing experience in both the UK and Iran. She has been dancing all her life and professionally since 1997. Recent high-profile events in which she has appeared include the 2009 Shah Abbas Exhibition and the 2010 Magic of Persia Norouz weekend, both at the British Museum.

In 2010 she will also perform at the inaugural event of the Shahnameh Exhibition for the Iran Heritage Foundation and at the Cambridge Heart of the World music festival.

Most of her other work to date has been at private events in the UK Iranian community, including the Cambridge Persian Community Norouz and Shab-e Yalda celebrations. She also appears once or twice a year at Planet Egypt in London. All her performances are improvised as she believes that choreography and codification contradict the very nature of dance. She is almost entirely self-taught, but studied Afghan dance with Miriam Peretz of the Ballet Afsaneh, San Francisco.

She is constantly striving to enhance her repertoire and is currently planning a trip to Tajikistan for 2011 to study Tajik dance.
